It's something I'm missing on XPL(-EX) for a long time.
For now we have the choice to either apply all or no hooks to new apps. And since - at least me - I'm using similar initial settings for most new apps, and go on from there individually, it's a very repetitive process to go through every single setting again for every newly installed app. It would be a big plus, if we could choose these initial hooks beforehand.
It wouldn't be a big effort to implement this, I suppose. Since it would just be a secondary selection screen, where the user chooses which hooks to apply, when a new app is being installed. That's it.
