why would anyone use their SBBS address on a mobile wallet for mining?

You have to use the SBBS address for mining. Using the mobile wallet isn't a problem, you just have to open your wallet when the pool sends the rewards. Same with the desktop wallet.

Knowing when the pool is going to send rewards and having to open it every time seems like a burden. If I were mining I'd have a dedicated desktop wallet opened at all times or use a cli

But, now I see the reasoning for having a note in the mobile wallet for this.
