This directory contains node-oracledb examples.
To run the examples:
-
Edit
dbconfig.js
and set your username, password and the database connection string, for example:module.exports = { user: "hr", password: process.env.NODE_ORACLEDB_PASSWORD, connectString:"localhost/orclpdb1" };
This reads the password from the environment variable
NODE_ORACLEDB_PASSWORD
, which you must set before running examples. -
Review the samples and then run them like:
node example.js
-
After running example, the demonstration objects can be dropped with
demodrop.js
:node demodrop.js
If this is your first time with node-oracledb, start with
example.js
.
