This example shows how to use the Vercel AI SDK with Next.js and Inkeep's Managed AI Chat Service to create an LLM-powered chat bot on your content.

How to use

Execute create-next-app with npm, Yarn, or pnpm to bootstrap the example:

npx create-next-app --example https://github.com/vercel/ai/tree/main/examples/next-inkeep next-inkeep-app

yarn create next-app --example https://github.com/vercel/ai/tree/main/examples/next-inkeep next-inkeep-app

pnpm create next-app --example https://github.com/vercel/ai/tree/main/examples/next-inkeep next-inkeep-app

To run the example locally you need to:

1. Get onboarded to Inkeep to receive an Inkeep API Key and Integration ID.
2. Set the required Inkeep environment variables as the token value as shown the example env file but in a new file called .env.local
3. pnpm install to install the required dependencies.
4. pnpm dev to launch the development server.
