Since I've never used SendCutSend before, it'd be nice to have a step-by-step set of instructions for ordering the 2U faceplate in metal from them (mostly what options to choose), and notes about potential costs and shipping times.

(There is no rush to do this of course!)

Separately, maybe someone in the community would like to organize a group buy? Logistics mostly kill that sort of thing, but if multiple people in one small region might want metal parts, it would save money to have one person order multiples, then distribute them locally.

And with flat 10" parts, shipping costs aren't that bad.

I will definitely add them to the readme when I get it updated!

Is that metal 2U x 4 Pi plate in the video 2mm thick? Maybe closer to 1/8" (3.2mm), can't be sure. These sure get a lot cheaper on a group buy @geerlingguy

Here's the copy/paste from the JetKVM models that I did for SendCutSend:

Measurement Units: mm (millimeter)
Material Type: 5052 H32 Aluminum
Material Thickness: 0.125" (3.2mm)
Services: None
Finishing: None (or Deburring, but their deburring services are minimal at best)

Thanks for the details, @JaredC01!

I'd be interested to join a group order.
