Hey Anil,

For KaonLT and PionLT...

  1. root : 6.18.04
  2. hcana : 0.95.0
  3. python: 3.4
  4. root_pandas: 0.7.0
  5. root_numpy: 4.8.0

A few other notes...

  • All master branches are in the process of being updated. We actually have a meeting on these updates February 14th at 10 am EST. If you would like to attend you are more than welcome, we can send the invite! (Notes from our last GitHub meeting can be found here)

  • We use the following repos...

  • Our group directories are a good place to see how things are setup.

    • /u/group/c-kaonlt
    • /u/group/c-pionlt
    • Although, I am not sure how up-to-date the general directories are. I know for KaonLT it has been as while, so it is probably better to check my personal directory until we update this.
      • /u/group/c-kaonlt/USERS/trottar

If you have any other questions, please let me know!

@trottar , Does the python have be 3.4 ? can't it be 3.6 ?
Also if the answer is NO, why is this the case ?

Our ROOT version is compiled with python 3.4. It may be possible to run with 3.6 but then our ROOT version would need to be compiled with that python version and ROOT tends to break everything.

ok I see. Then you build root from source against python3.4 , right ?

Our bash scripts will source...

source /site/12gev_phys/softenv.sh 2.3
source /apps/root/6.18.04/setroot_CUE.bash

Which is our default ROOT/python versions.
