Hello,
I have connected Twinkle via a FritzBox, so far everything works. However, Twinkle asks me for the SIP access data (user and password) every time I start it. Is there a way to make Twinkle remember this data and not ask for it again?
I can't find anything here.
Thank you

Have you saved the data into a profile and activated that profile on startup?

Yes exactly

sounds like the password is false.

Can't really be, because I can make phone calls.

the first time i added my fritz!box data to the profile, it said: can't connect and complaint, but calling was possible and after that call, it never complained again.

That is, basically it should work like this.
Now I delete the profile again and create everything anew.

REASON:

You used an IP address instead of the correct provider "fritz.box" .

Solution:

Edit your profile and change all IPs to "fritz.box" and restart.

Thank you, that's exactly what it was.

@frauennetz I take it that this issue can now be closed?

@fbriere : the docs i found so far all state, that using Ip addresses for sip server would work, which is, as we can see here, not entirely true. I suggest to add notes to the docs or in the app, to make this clear.
