problem setting Dgen docker container on Mac

I am trying to setup dgen on my mac. I face this erorr when I try to create the docker container

(base) docker run --name postgis_1 -p 5432:5432 -e POSTGRES_USER=postgres -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=postgres -d mdillon/postgis
Unable to find image 'mdillon/postgis:latest' locally

I tried to use the alternative command:

It creates the container but it is not functioning properly. When I create the database in PgAdmin it is empty.
