This isn't a bug with the source

As the client changelog states:

Fixed Monster Magnet crashing the caster when trying to pull bosses. Drawback: Dojo HPBar becomes unavailable.

I would recommend tossing out the client(s) in the readme and instead using Hendi's:
https://forum.ragezone.com/f921/localhost-workshop-1202021/

In addition to be clean it also works on macOS/Linux under wine.

However Hendi's client does crash (freeze and then close) when Monster Magnet is used to pull bosses. This is a bug that should be fixed.
