XeniumOS, password protection

There's an option is XeniumOS v2.3.1 to enable a password but never asks you to set a password or tell you what the default is.

The password is not in the manual but has been dug up through some old links:

• XWAY - (X White A Y)
• or UUDDLRLRBAS (Konami Code)

If you have a default BIOS, it'll reboot into that dash which gives you a chance fix with Xenium-Tools, otherwise you must be the recovery jumper with recovery.bin at the root of E, or burnt to a DVD.

I believe the password is one that has a fixed value in the firmware.

It is not something the user enters.

The second feature was only requested by one person, but we thought it was an excellent suggestion, and very much in keeping with the philosophies of our legal OS. QuickRegion™, when enabled, allows you to select a game region at the touch of a button. ("A" for US/Canada, "X" for Japan, "Y" for Europe/Australia, "B" to keep current setting) An excellent feature if you have a respectable import collection, and are using the chip to allow you to play your legitimately aquired titles from lands afar. With QuickRegion™ you can make your Xbox play any region game in a flash. This cool feature now brings instantaneous power to your fingertips!

I don't know where they posted that information. It was not in their Xenium OS v2.0 User manual. It must have been on their website back in the day but the forums and much info were not archivable by the Wayback Machine.

I can confirm they both work. Konami code is trickier to enter as you dont have much time to enter it but it does work :)
