Hey there. As someone who enjoys the older Armored Core games, I appreciate the fact that your mod exists.

I spent most of the night getting fteqw building and running in its entirety on my system and was successfully able to use fteqcc to compile and run it.

I'm waiting on review but to see my code changes from that session, check out here.

running the QC on FTEQW is unknown, the mod itself is a TCM for the Darkplaces source port. Where possible, the QC uses the Darkplaces bindings for various VM functions, and QC globals.

I’m confused at the response. The intention was just to say that your mod works on my platform without any issues so far. 😁

I think I'm confused as well, you mention using FTEQW which is a different engine, I wasn't aware that DP and FTEQW had that level of cross-compatibility with the QC extensions. Cool to know it works, I'd be curious to see a video, and if you had to make any config changes, I'll document them. 👍

Ohhh. I built that engine to use the compiler. The compiler you have in the repo is from it. It’s how your scripts are compiled. 😹

It’s not running on FTEQW (but dark places).

correct, hence my initial confusion. I'd recommend not doing any engine changes at the moment, and stick to the QC.
Modding the QC is just like any other quake mod, just tightly-coupled to Darkplaces.
