Open mup up on a grapical interface in LXDE then in the main menu you can right click on it and uncheck main to hide the main menu but then there doesn't seem to be any way to navigate and you end up stuck in a window with no menu that you have to close and open the program again.
Or getting anything useful in the interface. and only choice is to close the program and reopen it.

Oh good point. Never noticed that. I looked at QToolBar documentation and it seems there is no way to prevent this menu from appearing. I think the action to bring back the bar should be integrated in the main view context menu. What do you think?
Thinking a bit more about it, it should be possible to intercept the context menu event and prevent the toolbar context menu from showing up. I'd rather avoid the potential bugs of maintaining the state of the toolbar across sessions.
