Issue description and reproduction steps

Using the attatched blend file, attempt to add a property override to the custom input on the node group. Upon adding one, an error message will display, which can be found in the attached log starting on line 515.

Neither Preview or Final Render seem to work for this nodegroup, however preview does seem to work in other projects sometimes. Not sure what the difference there is.
