make it possible to only subscribe to events fired via particular channels / rooms.
So an event is still global, but has a channel / room information and therefore subscribing modules can filter out what was is to them.

There is a tunnel option already used to ask other component for a particular action and make it reply to the actual initiator of the communication only.

Guess this could be somewhat similar - event names would be adjusted, or just the event options could contain the channel information.
