An option for intelmqctl run (or start) or as parameter would be nice which causes the bot to stop if the source queue is empty. So the bot does not wait for incoming messages.

That is useful for tasks which should happen at specific times. A bot can then be started by cron or other scripts, do the work and then exit cleanly.

Expanding on this, we can have a one watchdog bot, which will start the bots automatically when the source queue has some data and show the bot down after a cooloff period when the Q is empty.
