Hi @neesoe <https://github.com/neesoe>, paravirtualized GPU performance
and compatibility highly depend on versions of macOS on your host and in
your guest. Please make sure they are as fresh as possible. For example,
#501 <#501> were just recently
supported.

Update - It seems like paravirtualized graphics is available but it does
not appear to help with apps. I tried a couple of apps and they all go
haywire when doing anything 3d. Just for curiosity I did a Geekbench for
metal and it scores over 30K which is 90% of what the host system gets. I
am utterly confused
|
For now the workaround is to use the Apps with disabled hardware acceleration. In the first app(Archicad from Graphisoft) smaller projects open fine and is usable. Bigger projects are lagging a bit , but still usable. The other app(sketchup from Trimble) does not have any options to disable hardware acceleration and is totally unusable. I am still very surprised this works so good even with a MacBook Air with 8GB of ram. Shame the graphics is acting up. |
I have been trying to run some apps and the graphics seem to be non existent . Apple system report shows null for Graphics/Display. I am curious if this is even possible with the current
virtualization.framework
