We can stablish the "during" time for some of the steps, like "boil during 15 minutes" or "bake for 2 hours". Could the app take a sum of all the "time elements" in the recipe and display it under the title (or, if we're really fancy, in the files list, next to each file)?
If this is possible, I'd have it include any time set in the metadata, which is the only place I can think of to add the "prep time" (since nobody will go "chop the onions for 5 minutes") for those who want to know how long the whole thing will take.
