install doesn't work

I can't get past the installation password. It passes when I click on login, but it never shows autheticated and won't do any of the other steps. Is there a wy to disable the installation login checks?

The installation actually blocks step 3.
To work around, before installation, you must empty the upgrade-mysql file if you use MySQL: the update deletes the admin user.
