Hi, I friend of mine using WhatsApp on iPhone can't send me messages since last friday. WhatsApps says, message could not been sent "do you want to try again?" which results in the same error. All those messages have a red triangle with a ! inside. The messages have only one hook which means the server got the message.

On the iPhone I tried a WhatsApp restart and also restart of iOS. But doesn't solve the problem.

iOS is current 9.x and there are also no updates for WhatsApp in the Appstore. I'm using whatsapp-purple win32 v0.9.0.

Any other solution?

I can't receive messages from contacts with an IPhone, so it may be the same problem.

And you get no messages, also not empty messages, which I also sometimes get?
And your iPhone users gets those red triangle with exclamation mark behind messages in WA?

Currently, I seem to get no messages at all, neither from androids, nor from iphones, although their users see me as "available" and get messages from me.
An iphone user tells me that when they try to reply, they get a single check mark first, then the exclamation sign meaning the message did not send.
I haven't received any empty messages.
I use purple 0.9.0-a802c9a on Windows.

That's weird!
Anyone got a trace? Just build "debug" as in "make clean && make debug"

I had the same issue running on Windows 7 x64 and the 5e0d80a (devel) branch. I found that building with debug symbols seems to fix the problem, although I have no idea why.

After another recent update of the iOS WA client, I'm able to get messages from iPhones again, too. So I guess this issue could be considered closed.
