One issue that immediately caught my attention was the problem of broken links in the README.md file (Issue #462).
When reviewing the README, I found several links that were no longer functioning, leading to 404 errors or outdated content. This is a common issue in open-source projects, where links can become stale over time as the referenced resources change or get moved.
I decided to take a closer look and systematically go through the README, identifying all the broken links. Using online tools like Broken Link Checker, I was able to compile a comprehensive list of the problematic URLs, along with a brief description of the issue for each one.
Addressing this problem is crucial, as broken links can significantly reduce the usability and trustworthiness of the repository. Developers who stumble upon these broken links may become frustrated or lose confidence in the project's maintenance and overall quality.
With this in mind, I created a new issue in the repository, clearly outlining the problem and providing the detailed list of broken links. I also included some suggestions on how the maintainers could approach resolving the issue, such as updating the links or finding alternative sources.
