Please describe your issue:

Error starting xfce after updating chroot to install the xorg target.

If known, describe the steps to reproduce the issue:

sudo startxfce4 displays and error described below:

I had the same issue.

Looks like you're having the same problem specified in #4793 . Read that, try the steps specified there and come back if it doesn't work.

(it should still work in a Jammy chroot, as the steps do not specify a specific release)
