Does it have a concept of having a 12 word private key? And in case I have such a key, how do I use it here? In this link, if I enter this key in the 'mnemonic' box, then it doesn't seem to take it. I was able to generate some id, and make some 'posts', but it did not give me the secret key. |

Rostra is p2p, and intended to be ran directly as an app on your computer or a phone (eventually), but I know how important it is for people to try out things without too much friction. That's why I already invested in what is necessary to host Rostra on a web-server.
I've just deployed current Rostra web instance to:
https://rostra.me
with a goal of making it easy for people to just try it out.
Notably, I can't really guarantee that this server will not lose data (or I won't have to just start wiping it eventually), so it should be treated as a playground. If you want to keep your data, you should start Rostra locally using the same identity, so it can replicate your existing posts.
Post your Id in the Introductions category!
Also, please be aware that it's still extremely early, and as happy as I am to have something to show, there's still a lot of things to improve and iterate on.
