Authenticate with Google

Do people expect to be able to login with their Google Account? or is an email and password enough for now? [ MVP or Post MVP ? ]

I would say that both Google and Facebook sign ins are post MVP but pretty close to the 2nd or 3rd iteration. Twitter would be up there too.
As soon as we take it beyond testing with the people we know, we want to reduce the barriers to get started as much as possible - it's people's first encounter with the app so I would argue we should start as we mean to go on, by making things as simple as possible from the beginning.

Just found out Kickstarter does this when you try to log in with your email but have registered through social media:

As a user, I actually found this super useful, it saved me a ton of time rooting around in my emails (especially because I remember Kickstarter having my Amazon login and didn't think I'd ever logged into anything over FB - changed immediately of course). BUT as a person who is developing an app, I'm much more concerned about the security implications of pointing an impersonator in the right direction to hack someone's login details.

A UX piece for people to vote on post MVP? Or a security issue we shouldn't even contemplate?
