t makes the most sense under the "minimum_should_match parameter".
Given that boost is primarily about controlling relevance, it belongs under a Search Relevance section. But this is a symptom of a bigger issue, we don't have a dedicated search relevance section in the Elasticsearch docs. I suspect it was another oversight that this entire Controlling relevance topic wasn't ported over.
Description
We currently do not have documentation describing how to use the
boost
functionality for search. Looking at the opster (which we are migrating into our docs), a decent explanation is provided https://opster.com/guides/elasticsearch/search-apis/elasticsearch-bool-queries/I'm curious if it's excluded by design or if we want to add it, it makes the most sense under the "minimum_should_match parameter".
