What Happened?

Certain applications like AudioRelay, VLC (Flatpak) and Synaptic (downloaded via apt) sometimes don't render their window shadows. I'm saying "sometimes" because the problems fixes itself after a reboot, but comes back after another.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open any of the mentioned apps
  2. Look at window decorations

Expected Behavior

All applications are meant to have proper window decorations... I guess.

OS Version

8.x (Circe)

Session Type

Classic Session (X11, This is the default)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)

Log Output

No response

Hardware Info

I'm running a fully up-to-date installation of elementary OS 8.
Linux 6.8.0-51-generic

Copied from System Settings:
Dual-Core Intel® Core(TM) i5-4200U CPU @ 1.60GHz
Intel® HD Graphics 4400
16 GB memory
120 GB storage
