Motivation

The command-line interface (CLI) is not the most user-friendly environment for interacting with and modifying the chatbot's behavior. Implementing a web interface would streamline the process, allowing for faster iterations and making it more accessible to a wider range of administrators.

Solution Proposal

Introduce a dedicated panel on the right side of the web interface. This panel would allow administrators to adjust guidelines and regenerate responses without needing to switch between different contexts.

Discussion

Do you use the CLI to iterate on chatbot behavior? Do you find it efficient, or is there room for improvement with a more intuitive web interface?

@sfarthin This is indeed a good idea!

We're actually working behind the scenes to support this as a supplemental product with a UI, in addition to many other useful features, and a high focus on enabling less technical users to control the behavioral aspect of agents. Please let us know if you'd like to be a beta user! (Actually anyone who's interested, feel free to thumbs-up this comment and we'll make sure to ping you when it's out — fairly soon!)

Interesting! I suspect this is likely going to be a SaaS offering, but I encourage you to explore a self-hosted solution for users/customers concerned with the privacy of their data.
