Knowledge: Stateful Functions

I just read about Stateful functions. My gut tells me this is something we should have a look at for makes to unlock further potential.

I accessored the topic through one particular implementation's explainer, but there certainly is complementary literature:

/cc @dermetfan @manveru - This is good stuff for work flow engines, as well. AFAIK Uber's cadence, but also Camunda's zeebe are build around concepts of Stateful functions. Cheers, David
