Description
Summary:
When I open Android Studio with the Flutter plugin installed and click 'New Flutter Project', the 'New Project' window selects whatever the previous project type was instead of a Flutter project
Reproduce:
- Make sure all projects are closed and restart Android Studio.
- Click on 'New Flutter Project'
- From the New Project window select a different project type from the menu on the right and click 'Cancel'
- Click on 'New Flutter Project' again
Expected: The 'New Project' window should be for a Flutter Project
Actual: The project type is whatever was last selected from this window. This persists on application restart.
It's a minor issue, but has led to a few false starts and it makes it seem kind of silly to have a 'New Flutter Project' button if the button doesn't actually start a 'New Flutter Project'.
- It's worth noting that this issue also persists on Narwhal 2025.1.2 Nightly 2025-06-06 and in fact it opens to the project previously selected when using Meerkat but not Ladybug.
