Is it possible to implement node mutation?

Your NN librery is the best go's NN implemention I've found, the usage is so neat, I like it so much. By reading you codes, I found that your NeuroEvolution is using a static NN, with BIAS and WEIGHT mutation, also make the new population by crossover. But, is it possible to use the NN without hiden layer at fisrt, and let them create hiden nodes themselves?
