Error creating a Maps API session

Dear Professor @giswqs ,

I tried to run the "GeoAI 2024" workshop from the "geemap.org" webpage. I successfully authenticate the Earth Engine Python API as per the instructions. However, when I tried to run "Visualize Earth Engine data" it showed the error

"RuntimeError: Error creating a Maps API session:
{'error': {'code': 400, 'message': 'API key not valid. Please pass a valid API key.', 'errors': [{'message': 'API key not valid. Please pass a valid API key.', 'domain': 'global', 'reason': 'badRequest'}], 'status': 'INVALID_ARGUMENT', 'details': [{'@type': 'type.googleapis.com/google.rpc.ErrorInfo', 'reason': 'API_KEY_INVALID', 'domain': 'googleapis.com', 'metadata': {'service': 'tile.googleapis.com'}}]}}."

I also created API key using Genimi Instruction on my project ID but showing the same error. Please suggest me a solution.

Professor, Thank you for your reply. I tried again. I followed the steps on the geemap website. However, It is still not working. I use google colab. I hope you will give me some solution.

It seems i have the same issue even after authenticating. Was anyone able to fix this?

I just release samgeo v0.12.1 that should fix this issue. Please update the package and try again.
