Explicit Pages Do Not Honor Order By

I have the plugin configured so that the posts are ordered by date, descending. It does not order them the right way even after I specify a date published for the explicit posts. I cleared all the cache to make sure. I then changed the order by from desc to asc, cleared all cache and nothing changed. Thanks!
