These could be important metrics to track.

what kinds of failures did you have in mind? like github API failures, or like "landings that didn't work"?

Uh, what was I thinking two months ago? I think I was interested in 'landings that didn't work', but I'm not sure it matters so much now that bors aborts builds so quickly.
