I had some real issues getting wxPython running in ubuntu and python 3 but once installed the application started.

I can't get it to connect to the camera. I have checked the camera is working fine in cheese. Have you had this issue?

...cleared a few bugs and depreciation warnings. Appears the main issue appears to be with opencv and it throwing up errors when looking at jpeg data. There are online comments about compiling opencv without a bit (or all, can't remember) of JPEG support. I'm trying to run with opencv 4, will report if it fixes the issue.
