normally the user can this legend to choose which signal can be enable or disable in each plot:
that will be awesome if there are a definition for each signal to assign which plot can be used to display, then the quantity of plots are depend on this selection, it can be changed dynamically:

So you want to set for each Column/Dataset in which plot this should be displayed?
This would be possible and I agree that the current way of handling it is a bit uncomfortable. It would however require quite some re-work in the gui.rs file. I'm open for pull-requests on that matter, as I currently do not have time for such an update.
