Steps to reproduce:

  • Add an account on an instance with "Trending Hashtags" disabled (like puntarella.party)
  • In "Account Preferences"/"Tabs" enable "Trending Hashtags" tab
  • Go back to the home, select the "Trending Hashtags" tab

What happens:
The app crashes

Proposed behaviour:

The app should not allow you to add a "Trending Hashtags" tab if the corresponding instance does not have those enabled.

Here it is:

If you want to give it a try, the instance is puntarella.party

I don't know what app that screenshot is from, but it's not our TUI, which is terminal based...

Oops, I'm doing too many fediverse things at the same time. This was meant to be for Tusky. Now a "move issue to other github repository" would be handy (sorry for the confusion!)

It looks like it was also already reported: tuskyapp/Tusky#3853

Thanks for Toot, btw. Today I've noticed the "view source" which is great :)
