This is a fast matlab version of DLS-PNP. Approximate runtimes on my laptop (core 2 duo, 2.4 Ghz) were (i) 8 ms for small sized problems (~10 pts), (ii) 19 ms for medium sized problems (~100 pts), and (iii) 100 ms for bigger sized problems (~1000 pts). The files are: README: this file SCRIPT.m: a file which simply runs the real world simulator and then the solver rws.m: a real world simulator which generates random points and their corresponding measured image coordinates dls_pnp.m: the solver. It is stand-alone, so you can drop this .m file in another directory and run it with your code independently. robust_dls_pnp.m: this runs dls_pnp for three different configurations (rotation around x/y/z by 90 deg), which will avoid the singular configuration for the Cayley parameters (when theta = 180 deg).
