This directory contains two family of drivers:

- PF_RING_aware/
Standard drivers that have been enhanced with PF_RING native support.
These drivers support PF_RING ZC, they can be used as standard drivers, 
or in zero-copy mode (same as DNA) opening the device with the 'zc:' 
prefix (e.g. zc:eth1). 
Please note that opening the device in zero-copy mode disconnects it from 
the system.

- DNA/
DNA (Direct NIC Access) drivers that allow applications to completely
bypass the kernel and access the card directly for maximum speed. This
means that an application sitting on top of the DNA driver can both send
and receive packets only using the PF_RING API, with no general purpose
networking (e.g. ping or web surfing) support. DNA drivers are limited
to selected network adapters. Please check its availability prior to
use them.
