Provides an API for interacting with the device's system calendars, events, reminders, and associated records.
For managed managed Expo projects, please follow the installation instructions in the API documentation for the latest stable release.
For bare React Native projects, you must ensure that you have installed and configured the react-native-unimodules
package before continuing.
expo install expo-calendar
Add NSCalendarsUsageDescription
, and NSRemindersUsageDescription
keys to your Info.plist
:

Run npx pod-install
after installing the npm package.
Add android.permission.READ_CALENDAR
and android.permission.WRITE_CALENDAR
permissions to your manifest (android/app/src/main/AndroidManifest.xml
):
