The Issue

Currently, the only way to tell how much LBC is needed to take over a vanity URL is by going to the Publish page and entering the URL at the bottom. Instead, if a vanity URL is used anywhere in the app, i.e. community top bids, trending, or claim pages, we should show the current effective amount (bid) with a ? link to https://lbry.io/naming .

Do you still love this idea? We should add it to our previews and file pages :)

I don't think it should be on claim previews, only on the file page.

How about to the previews on the Top pages. I think this would make it clearer why certain things are top and how others can participate.

I think it could possibly work on the preview for searches if given very low emphasis.

If it doesn't work there from a UI perspective, I would be in favor of adding a help icon to the preview which explains how it works and how to see the winning bid.
