Lens on fedora checksum doesn't match #8164

Describe the bug
The checksum for Lens-2025.1.161916 don't match for the RPM repository

To Reproduce
Try to update the lens version using dnf result on:

[MIRROR] Lens-2025.1.161916-latest.x86_64.rpm: Downloading successful, but checksum doesn't match. Calculated: c0848625c449219c41aad78848fa9c70675c1b320ca20bab3715662f9c2642d9(sha256) Expected: 4da87f32a22fa6ee4acdbf53da4b43d6fe6da1b238550325083925f760aa1eca(sha256)

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • Lens Version: Lens-2025.1.161916-latest.x86_64
  • OS: Fedora 40 Workstation
  • Installation method (e.g. snap or AppImage in Linux): RPM repository

After receiving your reply, I immediately tested installing the lens and the result was the same.

@dmouse @jameshue354 We purged the cache, it is now working for us. Can you please try again?

@jim-docker thanks! is working now. What I did to make it work was first run sudo dnf clean all and then sudo dnf update lens

update:
@jim-docker I hadn't noticed that I had this error at the end:

/usr/bin/lens-desktop has not been configured as an alternative for lens-desktop
warning: %postun(lens-2025.1.100124~latest-1.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 2

Error in POSTUN scriptlet in rpm package lens

I can't reproduce (works ok for me). Have you installed previous versions of Lens via rpm? Try running sudo dnf update and then try installing Lens again?
