io-chat

Chat application using node.js, express-js and socket.io.

Installation

Make sure you have installed Node and npm.

Once you cloned the repo, you'll need to install all the dependencies using npm.

npm install

And then start the server.

npm start

Your application will be available on http://localhost:3000

The port can be configured in server.js file, on line 9

server.listen(process.env.PORT || 3000)
