It's insanely slow. Slows my documents down to such a degree i can barely use/write in them. Maybe should be a quick way to toggle off and on the plugin.

👋🏻 Could you record and share a performance profile?

Ctrl+Shift+i to toggle on Developer Tools, then select the Performance tab and then click Record while you're experiencing a slowdown. Then click Save profile... to export the performance profile. You can then zip the file and add it as an attachment to this issue.
