AWS Aurora supports MySQL 8 now. (https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2021/11/amazon-aurora-mysql-8-0/) But this is not yet supported as stated in the system requirements: https://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.4/install-gde/system-requirements.html
