Download does not start

Do you have any idea why a download just does not start?

Sometimes it works just perfect - and sometimes it just does nothing to start a download. Download Window closes and nothing ever happens

This, probably made worse by not knowing that "Skip existing files is based on remembering downloaded URLs, since there is no API to test for existence of a file." really limits the usability of Download Star.

I had to check through every batch download because, suppose I'm downloading a sequence of 20 images. I might find that number 12 never downloaded and my only option is to make sure I left that tab open, go back, and use the manual context menu download option because Download Star refuses to try again.

I only realized what was probably going on with "Skip" just now, when I happened to visit the AMO page to grab a link for someone.
