Search resource option gone in link modal

Summary

After upgrading to 2.0.0-pl the search option disappeared in the link modal. Only selecting resources are possible but in a large site with lots of resources navigating to the wanted resource is time killing. In previous version option to search for resources was available.

Select link in TinyMCE editor and see the missing option

It is gone until tinymce/tinymce#6588 is solved. It is almost impossible to inject a search field into the form (feel free to try that) and extending the input types of TinyMCE would be the only option. But that's beyond my knowledge and can't be done in my spare time.

Facing the same complains from a lot of my clients regarding this feature. Therefore I downgraded to version 1.4.0 to keep this feature alive. However with upgrading MODX to latest core version 2.8.2, TinyMCE 1.4.0 stopped working. Image Plugin/Media Browser is not loading anymore, throwing JS errors and therefore I am forced to push it to TinyMCE to 2.0.0 losing the autocompletion feature at all...this is a problem.

@travisbotello I believe the empty browse window will be fixed in MODX 2.8.3 which will be released this week according to notification of the MODX team. So then it will be possible again to use TinyMCE RTE 1.4.0. with MODX 2.8.3 with all functions working as aspected. This browse problem is a issue for multipe RTE plugins use in MODX and is a known bug.

@travisbotello Today MODX launched MODX 2.8.3 which solved the browse bug in RTE's. I have tested TinyMCE with MODX 2.8.3. and I can confirm I am able to browse to resources again.

Since 'Search resource option' is not available anymore, I will reopen this until the option is available in TinyMCE.
