Thanks 😃

Hello @Lulucmy,

The translation system is not done for now, it's wiser to wait the version 1.0 to implement it (with features and texts finalized).

I will remember your name when the time comes.
I can translate texts in English & French. In which languages can you translate the texts ?

Thanks for your involvement ;)

Hi @filipeoliveira @julianasouza @tyrandus @christopheranderton !

Sorry for the delayed answer ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Alright, I will come back to you when the time comes, for the translations ! 👍

@christopheranderton No, since most of (Un)colored UI text content is rich, a gettext-like system would not be very convenient. (Un)colored translation system will work like this :

  • One XML translation file for each language (en_US.xml, fr_FR.xml), that contains translated HTML rich content.
  • In HTML app template : target HTML elements (that will contain HTML rich content), identified with a unique data-lang-id attribute (or similar) (e.g. : data-lang-id="io-reading-message").
  • In JS : real time injection of translated HTML rich content, from XML translation file into identified HTML target elements.

Thank you guys for contributing, it's always a pleasure to answer !
See you soon, I'm trying my best to keep the flow going :)
