Observed behaviour

When engaged in combat and Ctrl-Click on the enemy to use his as the point of reference, activate "Forward Cruise mode" and adjust your speed so as to halt at around 6 km distance from him. Just keep firing until you destroy him and he just sits there doing nothing.
You are NOT stationary, neither your enemy, however your thrusters are controlled by the on-board computer so that your position remains the same with reference to your enemy, and your relative speed is zero. However, the enemy does nothing to break this and it looks like he stands still waiting to be killed.

Expected behaviour

The enemy should engage in manoeuvers to break free. Theoretically, if his engines provide less G than yours, maybe he won't be able to "break free". But even so, there should be latency between him trying to "break free" and your thrusters to "remain within distance and position" so he could do something to fire back at you.

I can't explain it better. Sorry.

Steps to reproduce

Engage in combat, do as described above, just sit back and fire until the enemy is destroyed.

My pioneer version (and OS):
20240710, xubuntu 22.04

My output.txt (required) and game save (optional, but recommended)
