Can't start nix-installed apps

I have installed keepassxc via nix. On Pop shell (gnome) it starts just fine, but on COSMIC it doesn't. I don't know where to look for logs about what goes wrong. Starting it from from terminal in COSMIC works fine so it's a problem with the launcher / desktop integration i think.

I have the same issue with qbittorrent and other nix-installed apps.
