was wondering if mage based built is of interest ?

makes it easier to build the code, but also packaging itself .

Hello @gedw99. I am not sure what you are suggesting. That we change the build scripts we use to build go-appimage? Why would that be an advantage? In fact, one reason I like Go is that you don't need tools like make or CMake.
