Question about the software #8
Comments
Sorry, we do not have this robot, so this package do not support it for the time being.
This package adapts to our own controller and is not supported original controller.
As far as I know, ROS is not supported by original SM232 and RS485.

Subject: [ps-micro/PROBOT_Anno] Question about the software (Issue #8)
How does the ros master actually communicate with the robot?
does it send some serial gcode over the ethernet cable? are u using ros-industrial?
We have bought a J601A annorobot and are trying to connect it with ROS, but the physical electronics box has no ethernet port,
so we are trying to get a better understanding of how this communication happens.

Thats too bad, i guess we'll have to stick to the RobotAnno IDE for now.
I've been looking for this software but i cant find it anywhere. Do u have
a link for it?

Its the one that looks like this. I've tried to reach robotanno directly
but no response.
If u have a download for this IDE i would appreciate it greatly.
We are only trying to make a connection to our robot now.

Thank you very much.
We have the J601-A, so we need whatever software is associated with this
robot.
Much appreciation.
